The world's first gaming lounge for guitarists, "Guitar's Cafe," was created in 1999 by Philippe Mazenauer, Adrien Mazenauer and Fabrice Mazenauer in Switzerland, pioneers of this wonderful concept. The Guitar's Cafe in Lausanne is celebrating its 27th anniversary this year and remains the only one of its kind in the world.
A passion for guitars is the driving force behind the Mazenauer family's venture, a concept that has never been profitable.
Their dream is to open a Guitars Cafe in London and Los Angeles, but since the concept isn't profitable, it would need to be funded by donors through a Guitars Cafe Foundation, as a Guitars Cafe collection is worth approximately $2,000,000. Naturally, the Guitars Cafe would be delighted to receive legendary guitars from virtuosos and guitar heroes so they could be played instead of languishing in museums.
